Anthony Joshua will face Jake Paul in an eight round contest which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants confronted each other to promote next month's bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I will injure his face and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - normally famous for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead attacked former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou declined a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Serious Fighter
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to talk badly about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Fury in 2023.
Financial Success
However, the relative newcomer continues to be one of the sport's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning massive financial rewards.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the much-anticipated Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Size Disparity
As both boxers met for the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly happening.
